Following ASUS’s announcement of the Zenfone AR’s launch date in Taiwan this June 14, comes the much awaited Asus Zenfone 4 line-up to debut by the end of July.

A couple of months behind the original schedule, CEO Jerry Shen told Digitimes that the delay is due to efficiency upgrades and design overhaul, causing the company net operating loss. But the new Zenfone 4, hopefully, be more competitive and profitable.
Starting with a 5.5-inch model with a price tag not higher than $500 or P25,000 in Philippine pesos (NT 15,000), different variations would be added gradually along the way. ASUS plans to announce a new lineup, Zenfone 5, at the MWC 2018. Meanwhile, the Zenfone AR will be launched in Taiwan with a $830 (NT 25,000) price tag.
Expect to see Asus Zenfone 4 to disrupt the smartphone market with new premium design or at least with a dual camera setup at the back.
