BlackBerry Aurora goes official in Indonesia
Through licensing agreement, BB Merah Putih officially launches the Blackberry Aurora for the Indonesian market.
Blackberry Aurora has a couple of “first” title under its name – the first BB device equipped with the dual-SIM capability and first BB brand to arrive in Indonesia. Took them long enough, but welcome to 2016 BlackBerry.
BB Aurora packs in a 5.5-inch 720p display with 8.55mm thick body weighing in at 178g. There will be three colors for users – Black, Silver, and Gold.
A Snapdragon 425 paired with 4GB RAM basically handles all your daily needs with 32GB of internal memory. Not bad. It also runs Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box while being backed up by a 3000mAh battery.
You get to use a 13MP main sensor and 8MP front-facing snapper for your shooting purposes.
BlackBerry Aurora carries a price tag of IDR 3,499,000 or Php13,000 Philippine peso($260 USD) and currently available for pre-order in online stores in Indonesia.
Due to its exclusive status, we might never see the BB Aurora arrive in regional markets unless, of course, someone tries to bring it outside.(*cough* Nokia 6).
