Halloween is just around the corner and what better way to celebrate a dark holiday, but with something dark. Smartphones are our best buddies indoors and outdoors. Indoors they provide us with the great communication from the people outside, as well as serve tools of relaxation and entertainment. For outdoors, they’re a quick escape to the buzzy life of city streets and travel, however, getting too attached to your device, while on the road isn’t necessarily the best thing. Here are five horrendous effects or accidents that you might experience on the road.

Might hit a person and kill them

Sometimes, we often have to urge to take your smartphone out, while driving. it could be from the boredom of traffic or simply, someones contacting you and the need to take the call kicks in. Either way, its pretty dangerous and reckless and we all know this. But, they’re situations wherein we feel that it wouldn’t hurt to take out our phone for while, since you know, the traffic is killing us, but trust us, bear with it. Since the majority of road accidents, the pedestrian often takes the worst part. Get them killed and you only won’t have a problem with the deceased, but also yourself, your conscience will plague and plead and that is always a traumatizing thing to experience. So, its better to be safe than sorry, stay safe and keep those devices out of your palm for a while

Might crash into other vehicles

Probably a more heavier version of the first entry. This involves you, getting into the overall action yourself. Being distracted with your phone, when driving gravely reduces your road focus, so, chances are you might not only hit a civilian, but rather hit other numerous cars on the road, which can be troublesome. Again, never ever drive and text or use your smartphone at the same time. Its gonna go bad, not only for you, but for the worst part, the other people caught in your mistake. Although, if it really is something important and you really need to take that, make sure to not do it, while on the road. Try to find a parking place or a ditch to stop for a while and take the call. Its a more efficient way of saving your time, than wasting it via car crash, which could result in the welfare of you and the other drivers on the road.

Gets hit by a car, due to distraction

Well, well, the irony is big on this one. Apparently, the roles have been seemingly switched and this is a possibility. Everyday, we get more and more comfortable in using our devices while we’re walking on sidewalks and streets, not knowing that slowly but surely, we’re putting ourselves into very dangerous territory. Mostly, pedestrian accidents aren’t on the drivers fault, but rather the pedestrian itself. Getting to close for comfort with your device, while walking down the sidewalk or crossing down roads is a good way to get yourself in a real troublesome situation. Getting hit by a vehicle is a very unexpected and fearful accident, since, people who use their smartphones that get themselves into this situation couldn’t see it coming, literally. They’re attention is way to fixed on their smartphones, resulting in the similar lost of focus, in relation to the drivers, which gets them into trouble.

Might hit random walls and fall off stairs

The more harmless version of the previous entry of the list, hitting walls and falling off stairs are the norms of improper use of smartphones while walking. Mostly for indoors, stairs are a huge danger of the limited focus capability of a human being, that obviously doesn’t have the capability of focusing on two or more things. Its pretty normal though, our minds aren’t known to focus on a lot of things, we could only focus on specific things and lie low with the others, so falling off from stairs isn’t much of a shocker, similar to walking into walls. Low attention span plus distraction caused by smartphone usage is equals to a world of hurt. Some may thing that this is more humorous that dangerous, well, you haven’t seen things yet. Stairs accidents can actually be pretty dangerous on the worst side, you might hit a few very vital spots in your body, which may result to very serious physical injuries or even being coma’d. So, it doesn’t mean that an incident might not look serious to you, doesn’t necessarily mean its safe.

Death

Well, this is probably the worst case scenario from all of these entries. Death is an faith that could happen from as simple as using your phone on the road. Getting the worst side of these entries could get you closer and closer to the grim reaper himself and the worst thing is, you might be taking someone with you. Accidents, such as hitting other cars or hitting a pedestrian could result, not only to their own demise, but also to yours. If you really value your time here in this world, make sure to be safe, when using your utility device. Actually, when on the road, just try not to use your device overall, it’ll actually save you some batteries and even save your life or another person’s.

Told you this article will be a bit dark and morbid. death is the ultimate result in the recklessness done by misuse of smartphones, which is sad, since other innocent individuals might also be affected by our own  recklessness.
