Open Signal just released its latest State of the Internet report primarily on 4G LTE coverage and speed for last quarter of 2015. You can check report for Q3 of 2015 at Ranking Globe vs Smart vs SUN telco.
From the report, Smart Communications has established faster average 4G LTE speed nationwide with 7Mbps while Globe is down from 9Mbps to 4Mbps. However, Globe Telecom was seen to have wider 4G LTE coverage in the Philippine archipelago with 10% lead–48% vs 38% for Globe and Smart, respectively.
The report only means Globe still controls wider area of the internet broadband in PH. Perhaps serving people with a more reliable connection.
