A couple of days ago, LG introduced a new lineup of smartphones, dubbed the K-series which is meant to be the grand successor to LG’s long lost L-series. The first two handsets that took the mantle from their forgotten predecessors are the LG K10 and K7. What can these new K-series handset offer? Let’s dig in a little deeper shall we?

First up is the LG K10, the latter carries a 5.3-inch 720p HD display. Primarily both phones provide an option of the 3G variant or the LTE variant, pertaining a lot of difference, depending on the variant. One particular difference is in the Quad 1.3GHz of the 3G model and Quadcore 1.3GHz, Octa-core 1.14.GHz of the LTE variant. It also holds 1GB or 1.5GB of RAM, with 8 or 16GB of ROM and microSD support. The K10’s 13MP or 8MP selfie shooter depends on the model while its 5MP or 8MP selfie shooter depends on the region. Additionally, the LG K10 runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop and has 2300mAh battery capacity.
Now as for the relatively smaller LG K7, the 3G and LTE rule also applies. It boasts a 5-inch 480p qHD display, with similar options in CPU and memory. However in the camera department, the smaller LG K7 offers 5MP or 8MP rear shooter, which is highly dependent on the region, while it has a fixed 5MP selfie shooter. The remaining difference of the LG K7 on its higher alteration is its smaller 2125 battery capacity.
For now, the LG K10 and K7 are live in CES 2016 and many tech sites have already shared their hands-on experience with both devices. However, there isn’t much news regarding its availability date and pricing for now.
