The LG V30 was launched during IFA 2017 in September last year. Now, a South Korean publication cited that LG might announce the upgraded edition of the LG V30 with enhanced AI (Artificial Intelligence) capabilities at the Mobile World Congress (2018).

Rumors have it that the company will launch the LG G7 at the MWC 2018. However, LG CEO Jo Seong-jin said at Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2018 that the company won’t be releasing smartphones just because its competitors are doing so. Another report that the launch of the G7 may be moved to March or April.
Although the aforementioned company won’t be launching the G7, it will be holding a press conference at the MWC and the upgraded LG V30 aka “V30+‘α’.” is expected to be announced instead.
