Sony is starting off the Marshmallow update to a few old Z-series handsets in the market, such as the Sony Xperia Z2, Z3, and Z3 Compact. The update brings the updated Marshmallow 6.0.1 OS as promised by Sony back in October.

However, there is a catch on the update as it’s not yet launched globally, but rather through a few chosen regions such as US, Russia, Ukraine, Middle East, North Africa and finally Latin America. It sad that we’re not part of the update, though hopefully, Sony could globally distribute the update sometime next this year.
