FREE Office subscriptions

Now, not only students in the US can access the Office 365 for free – as Microsoft says that millions of students around the world are eligible for FREE Office subscriptions.

Microsoft made it easy for all eligible students and teachers globally to sign up themselves to get and install the Office 365 at no cost. The students just need a valid school email address in order to complete the sign up at Microsoft’s page.

Office 365 will provide students and teachers the latest version of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Access and Publisher installed on up to five PCs or Macs and up to five mobile devices like iPad, Android and Windows tablets. They will also get 1TB of storage on OneDrive that can be used to store and share all their documents across all their devices. Office 365 also works with office Online for in-browser editing, collaboration and co-authoring.

This free initiative is a benefit Microsoft provides to education institutions that buy Office for faculty and staff.
