Nintendo Switch official on March 3
Finally, the much-awaited next-gen console Nintendo Switch will be officially available on March 3 worldwide for a price of $299 or almost Php15,000. Pre-order will start on January 21.
The announcement came from NintendoAmerica via Twitter revealing what is included in the box, upon purchase.

The box will contain the Nintendo Switch Console, Dock, Joy-Con(L and R), Grip, Straps, AC Adapter and HDMI Cable.
If you are leaving under a rock, Nintendo Switch is a portable home console that can be connected to the TV via its Dock or you can play on-the-go by using the Nintendo Console itself.
The Nintendo Switch first debuted on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon where he played a few games including Zelda.

Speaking of games, Switch will include a minigame titled 1-2 Switch that showcases the Joy-Con.
One of the biggest games in Nintendo, Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will also arrive on Switch at the same date it officially launches.
Mario Kart 8 will become available shortly after launch.
There are apparently 80 game titles that are under development for Switch, including the next Shin Megami Tensei series, Fire Emblem, Xenoblade Chronicles 2, and Splatoon 2.
