During the second Snapdragon Technology Summit, Qualcomm officially announced the Snapdragon 845 as the next flagship processor. The company confirmed that the chip will be out in 2018.
Details of the new processor were not revealed. However, they will introduce it at a separate keynote. Also, previous rumors suggested four Cortex-A75 cores and four more Cortex-A53 and are accompanied by a new Adreno 630 GPU.
Xiaomi CEO Le Jun announced that his company’s newest premium handset would run on the Snapdragon 845. Furthermore, ASUS and HP officials stated that we’ll witness the portable computers that will support “all-day battery life and thin, sleek and fanless PC design, all while incorporating Windows 10″ in the early months of 2018.
