Samsung announces Exynos 9810

Samsung has been teasing the Exynos 9810 back in early November last year with CES related press material. The South Korean company has finally announced the Exynos 9810 as its next-generation Exynos 9 series chipset. It’s the second generation 10mm chipset of Samsung for smartphones and smart devices.

It is an octa-core processor that has four third-generation custom cores and to deliver efficient performance,  four cores were optimized. The 9810 is also capable of delivering twofold-single-core performance. The newest chipset packs with third generation custom core (Exynos M3), enhanced LTE modem, topnotch image processing and deep learning capabilities.

Also, the robust security offered by Exynos 9810 allow smartphones to easily identify people and objects in photos for performing a quick image search. It supports hybrid facial detection by scanning the face of the user in 3D and supports iris and fingerprint identification for personal data security as well.

Samsung has already begun the production of the mentioned chipset and will be showcased at CES 2018 between January 9 to 12 in Las Vegas.
