Samsung has launched the 2017 models of its budget Galaxy J series in Europe with the Galaxy J5 2017 to be released first this month for about $300 or almost P15k Philippine pesos while the Galaxy J7 2017 and J3 2017 will follow at a later date.

In terms of specs, the Samsung Galaxy J3 2017 and Galaxy J5 2017 share some major hardware specs including the metal exterior design, fingerprint sensor, 2GB RAM, 16GB expandable internal memory, and 13MP main camera. The Galaxy J3 has a 5.0 inch HD IPS display while the Samsung Galaxy J5 2017 will feature a 5.2-inch HD Super AMOLED.
For specs difference, the Galaxy J5 2017 has octa-core Exynos 7870 CPU the same as the Galaxy J7 2017 which has a bigger 5.5-inch Full HD Super AMOLED screen and 3GB RAM. Meanwhile, all run on Android 7.1 Nougat and supported by 4G VoLTE.
Expect the Samsung Galaxy J7 2017 to hit the market by July for about $335 and the J3 2017 for about $250 or less depending on taxes.
