What’s the difference between the Galaxy S8 vs Galaxy S8 Active?
The Galaxy S8 Active ditched the original S8’s Infinity Screen for a more military-toughness effect. The smartphone is durable since it is susceptible to drops, shock, splash, and dust. The image below showing the handset having a metal frame around its side makes the toughness possible indeed.
Aside from the toughness, the device’s rugged textured finish also gives users better grip. Yet, another improved feature is the battery. The S8 Active’s battery was upgraded from the previous 3,000mAh into a powerful 4,000mAh. Other specifications were identified to be similar to the original S8.
However, the Galaxy S8 Active will only be available for pre-order on AT&T at U.S at launch with no guarantee to be released unlocked. The smartphone is rumored to be sold for the price $850, roughly Php 42,000. PH pricing and availability will be announced as soon as the international version is revealed, if there will be.
