Other features of the Samsung Gear Sport includes real-time heart rate monitoring and customizable wellness plans. It also has a new Fitness Programs service, Speedo’s latest swimming training app, Speedo On and Samsung’s S Health app. Application partnerships also increased with the smartwatch’s partnership with Spotify and Under Armour.
In addition to that, the Gear Fit 2’s successor Gear Fit 2 Pro and Gear IconX 2018 wireless earbuds will also be released alongside the Gear Sport this September 15. Expected price of the Gear Sport is between $200 and $350 (P 10,000-17,500).
I’m not sure why they’d bother with iPhone compatibility. I’m pretty sure all the iPhone owners are just going to want Apple watches.
