The UI or user interface plays a huge role in our daily interaction with our devices. So, as people are confused on how they would pick the best smartphone WITH the best UI, we list three of them below to see the difference between Samsung’s Touch Wiz, MI UI, and Flyme OS.

Note: If you want more UI vs UI articles, feel free to message us your suggestions!

SAMSUNG TouchWiz

Known for its useful apps and widgets, TouchWiz is known to offer convenience for users. Aside from that, the UI supports Samsung Pay that makes the situation lighter for users to pay their bills. Images above are featured from the Galaxy J7 Pro.

However, its latest update allows users to experience Samsung’s own AI assistant Bixby Voice, Vision, Home (for selected devices) makes them a more convenient UI for many. Samsung’s UI is indeed useful especially those who want to manage and complete their tasks in a jiffy.

XIAOMI MIUI

The UI’s MI account works like an Apple ID so it improves the security of MIUI users indeed. Not only that but the UI also features a One-handed mode that resizes the screen 3.5-, 4- or 4.5in. That said, Xiaomi devices could also use a Quick Ball which has a function similar to iOS’ Assistive Touch as well.

Like the TouchWiz, the MUIU also Mi Wallet support and Split-screen feature. The latest MIUI 9 also brags its tweaked Animated Icons, Advanced Image Search, and Smart Assistant. Photos above are from Xiaomi Mi 5X.

MEIZU Flyme OS

Similar to the MIUI, iOS, and TouchWiz, Meizu also has its special Flyme account for its Flyme OS UI. The OS also offers Guest Mode, Normal Mode, Private mode and Kid’s Space for users to enjoy. Photos above are from Meizu’s MX5.

Moving on, the latest Flyme OS 6 update boasts bright and highly saturated colors for their apps. Besides that, the update includes Meizu’s intelligent thinking engine called “One Mind.” One Mind also provides Game Mode, Auto-repair at Night and Process Reaper.

Bottomline is that… it’s still up to the user which UI is the best. What matters most is how the UI helps the user regarding what they need and what they want to do. If you have any suggestions or comments, feel free to contact us!

  1. I’ve used all except Touchwiz’s new version which is now called Samsung Experience. Touchwiz, during its “Touchwiz” days was bad.

Flyme is okay. But MIUI rocks. New Sammy UI is great but I don’t have much experience with it. MIUI, however, has been awesome way, way back. When Touchwiz had this bad UI, MIUI was already great. It was even theme-able. All other UIs didn’t have that before.
