Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+
The report says that Samsung will unveil its next-gen Galaxy S series phones late February, during the MWC 2018 to be held in Barcelona, Spain. Under the model number SM-G965, the Samsung Galaxy S9+ was spotted on Geekbench. What’s more is that the device is powered by a Snapdragon 845 chipset running on Android Oreo.
The company has started receiving parts for the building of the newest smartphones from its suppliers. Unfortunately, as confirmed by the recent report, that the dual camera setup will only be on the larger variant which is the Galaxy S9+.The product manufacturers also stated that the Galaxy S9 case is Touch ID Fingerprint & Face ID compatible. Like the Galaxy S6, the rugged waterproof case supports wireless charging.
Huawei P11
The Huawei P11 is expected to be unveiled next year during the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, which means it will arrive earlier in 2018. As the date is fast approaching, a new concept about the much-awaited smartphone has been leaked. According to UAProf (User Agent Profile), it will come with a 16:9 aspect ratio.
It will likely be fueled with Huawei’s all-new flagship processor which is the Kirin 970. Also, it might also come with a 6GB RAM and will run on Android 8.0 Oreo. The P11 is rumored to have three cameras on the back as well.
Samsung Galaxy Note 9
Galaxy Note 9 expected to be unveiled at Q3 or Q4 next year, some tech designers still can’t stop from imagining what it would look like. In terms of inside specifications, the Galaxy Note 9 is visualized to sport a 6.4-inch QHD+ (2960 x 1440) display with an IP68 rating. Other specs include a 6GB/8GB of RAM, 64GB/128GB/256GB ROM with a Snapdragon 845 or Exynos 9810 chipset.
Apple iPhone X Plus
There are rumors that Apple will release the bigger and bolder variant of its newest flagship, the iPhone X. According to an analyst named Ming Chi Kuo, whose supply chain sources always appear to deliver correct gossip about Apple products, iPhone X Plus will be launched in 2018. It will be featuring a massive 6.5-inch screen.
A dual lens camera, Face ID, and faster internal components are expected.
Apple iPhone SE 2
Recent rumors suggest that Apple will release a 4-inch iPhone SE 2 as their first 2018 smartphone. Apple said to be retaining the small screen but adding faster silicon and a better camera. The company will likely be selling the SE 2 at a lower price.
OnePlus 6
OnePlus will be releasing its next flagship that will be called the OnePlus 6. The highlights of the new flagship will be its under-display fingerprint sensor and the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 sensor.
Also, there have been reports that OnePlus 6 will be coming with some features as Apple’s iPhone X. Some of them might be the facial recognition and the 3D camera module. It is also expected to deliver better battery life, graphics, photos, audio, and video recording than what OnePlus 5. Moreover, it will likely join the bezel-less display trend.
Nokia 9
For the specs of the Nokia 9, all we know is that it’ll be larger than the Nokia 8 with the now trendy 18:9 wide aspect ratio screen and narrower bezels around the display. Also, it will be waterproof. Rumors had it that the Nokia 9 will be unveiled on January 18, along with the second generation Nokia 8.
Sony Xperia XZ Premium 2
Sony is reported to unveil their new smartphone at MWC 2018. Today, a leaked image of an unidentified Sony phone that was shared online by Techie State. Rumors have it that it could be the front view of the Sony Xperia XZ2. The alleged new Sony smartphone is surrounded by ultra-thin bezels.
It is reported to have a screen-to-body ratio, a 5.5-inch 4K display, a Snapdragon 845 chipset, 4GB of RAM, dual 12MP rear cameras, a 16MP front-facing camera, a 3,130mAh battery and 64GB of storage.
Redmi Note 5
Leaked specs suggest that the Redmi Note 5 will be powered by a Snapdragon 625 chipset, the device will have 64GB of internal storage. Other specs include a 12 MP rear camera, Android Nougat 7.1.2 and 4,000 mAh battery.
