Tribe mobile app arrives in the Philippines
Through Globe Telecom, Tribe mobile app-first over-the-top (OTT) video streaming service has finally arrived in the Philippines.
Tribe offers live and on-demand exclusive content from popular genres such as Korean entertainment, anime, e-Sports, Asian thrillers, and fight sports.
Korean Entertainment
For K-drama fans out there, programs from KBS World and tvN is available and soon, on-demand content from K plus.
You can watch K-drama shows such as Hwarang and My Fair Lady.
Anime
Directly from Aniplus, online streaming provides Anime series like Drifter, Psycho Pass, including the latest released series.
E-Sports
Straight from eGG channel, watch and keep updated on the latest e-sports gaming happenings like the Boston Major Dota Tournament.
Fight Sports
A wide selection of Asian suspense thriller movies is also available via the application.
These include Programs such as Bellator and Top Gear Korea.
Tribe aims to create immersive experiences and build connections among different fan groups through events and contests.
According to Ryza Dipatuan, Head of Marketing of Tribe Philippines, “In the coming months, Filipino millennials can definitely expect more engaging activities that help them find their respective tribes,”
The app is available via Google Play and Apple Store with a 30-day free trial.
Users can continue to stream shows after the free trial for a subscription fee of just P69 a month or P30 a week.
