Vivo X9 and X9 Plus now official

Vivo is on a roll. After the recent launch of the latest Vivo V5, Vivo X9 and X9 Plus is now official.

Dual front camera

The main highlight of the X9 and X9 Plus is the dual front camera. The selfie camera comes with 20MP f/2.0 Sony IMX376 sensor along with an 8MP for adding depth. The rear camera is equipped with 16MP f/2.0 PDAF with LED flash.

Both devices pack a 1080p Super AMOLED display with the X9 coming in at 5.5-inch and the X9 Plus at 5.88-inch. Judging by the photos, the body is built on metal with plastic on top and bottom to make way for antenna lines.

The X9 is powered by a Snapdragon 625 2.0GHz octa-core CPU, Adreno 506 GPU, paired with 4GB RAM, and 64/128GB internal storage while X9 Plus comes with Snapdragon 653 1.95GHz octa-core CPU, Adreno 510 GPU, paired with 6GB RAM, and 128GB internal storage. Both devices do not support microSD card.

For the basic X9, 3050mAh battery is found while the bigger version is at 4000mAh. Both runs under Android Marshmallow with FunTouch OS 3.0

The Vivo X9 and X9 Plus is available in Gold and Rose Gold colors with the latter’s starting price at 2798yuan or $406 or P20k Philippine peso for the 64GB variant and 2998yuan or $435 or roughly P21.5k Philippine peso(before taxes) for the 128GB variant. 

Currently available in China for pre-order for the X9 while the X9 Plus availability and pricing will be on December 26.
