Leaks are no longer needed anymore, as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A goes official today. The smartphone was revealed to have 3 models and offers premium specs for an affordable price as well.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A sports a 5.5″ 1280×720 display donned with its sleek metal unibody design. All of the devices are made available in Champagne Gold, Rose Gold, and Platinum Silver Gray colors.
Speaking of, the Redmi Note 5A has the base model with a 2GB RAM/16GB ROM. On the other hand, the second and third models are labeled Redmi Note 5A Prime have 3GB RAM/32GB ROM and 4GB RAM/64GB RAM. The two premium models are powered by Snapdragon 435 while the base 2GB RAM model has the Snapdragon 425 on board.
Up their front is a 16MP front camera for Prime model paired with a 13MP camera at the back. Yet, the low-end model has a 5MP front camera and has no fingerprint scanner. The fingerprint sensor is shown at the back for the two higher models. All of the three has a 3,080mAh battery juice.
Regarding the price, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A base model goes on sale for €89. The Note 5A Prime with 3GB/4GB RAM costs €114 and €152, respectively. The smartphones are already on sale in China today. Release in other countries is yet to be announced. So, stay tuned for Philippine release updates.
