Similar to the Echo Dot, Xiaomi launched their home speaker, Xiaomi Yeelight Voice Assistant. Other than the looks, the speaker also is equipped with Alexa and Xiaomi AI technology. The AI speaker also boasts Acoustic Echo Cancellation and Beamforming technology.
That said, the Dual AI system of the speaker is used to utilize other Xiaomi home automation products. Supports for other products is set in the upcoming weeks. With a quad-core Cortex-A53 CPU, the Xiaomi Yeelight also has 256 MB RAM and 256 MB internal memory inside. It also comes with dual-band WiFi connectivity and Bluetooth Low Energy.
In terms of other features, it has six microphones with a single 2-watt loudspeaker that is accessed within a 5-meter range. The Xiaomi Yeelight Voice Speaker will officially launch on January 31 with a price of CNY199/$30. Users can buy it at Xiaomi’s online store.
