The 10-year old was able to breach Instagram cyber defenses and was able to delete other people’s comments in the Instagram servers. The boy’s father claimed that Jani, the boy mentioned and his twin brother are always poking around secured websites, making the Instagram hack, their biggest one yet.
For his troubles, Facebook gave Jani $10,000 as part of their Facebook Bug Bounty program. The Program has been mostly beneficial for Facebook since they were able to determine a lot of “loopholes” in their system and was able to counter future threats.
