From the video, we can easily observe a few new fresh and new stuff on the advanced edge function of a 6.0.1 equipped Galaxy S6 edge. The said apps are decided into two particular categories, edge feeds, which are more focused on receiving information on sight and edge panels, which are simply add-ons for overall functionality. A few recent apps under the MyApps can be seen through the video, which are the recently used apps, Quick tools, S Planner, Weather, Yahoo, Twitter and Sports. However, it seems that these are just examples and most likely other functions and apps can be used on this newer edge functionality.
If you have an S6 edge or any other new Samsung flagship, then most likely you might receive the update this December, however, since it’s almost the New Year, its likely to hit us anytime soon. Though waiting for an exquisite and clean experience provided by the Marsmallow update and its added edge function for Samsung phones is truly worth it.
