Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe

Asus recently introduced the three Zenfone 3 models that are to take the lead this 2016. One of these is the very premium-like Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe. The Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe, such as its other variants are expected to land in the Philippines in June 2016.

The Asus Zenfone 3 Ultra does not only have present-day high-end specs, but it also has a huge 6.8-inch FHD display in its front. Many have argued if this is actually a good thing, but those who frequently watch movies and Youtube videos on their phone would gladly appreciate that massive boost in the display department. Like the Zenfone 3 Deluxe, the Zenfone 3 Ultra will go live sometime in June 2016 here in the Philippines.

Xiaomi Mi Max

Asus is not the only company who’s taking the display department on smartphones by storm. Xiaomi’s newly introduced phablet, the Mi Max also gives way to a pretty huge 6.4-inch display. It also has a few decent specs like an option of 3 or 4GB of RAM and a 16MP/5MP camera pairing, which will give the huge Xiaomi phab a chance to compete against well-known flagships, outside the display category. Right now, the Xiaomi Mi Max is available through various online stores with a price tag of around Php 13K or 14K.

ZTE Axon 7

ZTE’s newly introduced Axon 7 has recently gotten a lot of attention, not only for being a new ZTE handset but also for a few interesting things. One, in particular, is its powerhouse line of specs, with the Axon 7 landing with a 4 or 6GB of RAM option and 64 and 128GB of ROM option. It also has a 20MP rear shooter with a wide f/1.8 lens, which is a good addition to the ZTE Axon 7’s powerful line of specs. Lenovo ZUK Z2 Pro

Lenovo recently introduced a new ZUK collaborative flagship in the form of the ZUK Z2 Pro. The flagship has a lot more to offer than style, thanks to its Snapdragon 820 chip running the show and an option of maxing out in RAM at 6GB. Sadly, it doesn’t support microSD card storage, which is kind of a letdown, though it offers a decent range of ROM capacity on the 64 to 128GB range. The Lenovo ZUK Z2 Pro isn’t technically looking to go global yet, though we can highly expect the ZUK Z2 Pro to land at around June of this year.

Vivo Xplay5 Elite

Vivo has already marked 2016 as one of their pioneering years in the smartphone industry as they recently outed the Xplay5 Elite in the western market. The Vivo Xplay5 Elite is the first smartphone to go live with 6GB of RAM so that alone is legendary on its own right. Adding to the mix is its excellent 5.43-inch QHD display and top-dog Snapdragon 820 chip on the side.

The Xplay5 Elite has a 16MP/5MP camera pairing, which seems standard at this point-in-time for smartphones, but it does shoot 4K videos, which takes things a bit higher for the Xplay5 Elite. There isn’t any particular news if the Xplay5 Elite will go global or at least land in Asia, though it should be an interesting phone to see here.

The Huawei P9 as mentioned packs a dual 12MP rear shooters and take not, these aren’t just any shooters, these are Leica optics-made lenses, which is considered as top-of-the-line at this time. Hopefully, we’ll land on in hand and try it out ourselves to see whether the Leica optics-equipped Huawei P9 is truly something worth the attention it’s getting.
