Which is a better buy between the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 and Honor 10 Lite?
Thanks to the updated design of the Zenfone Max Pro M2, it’s able to go neck and neck against the Honor 10 Lite. Where it could matter for a consumer is the notch size with the latter having a smaller, teardrop style notch.
While Asus managed to use an improved Snapdragon 660 (14nm) here, Honor gets the advantage in efficiency with the Kirin 710 based on the 12nm process with an option to pair with 6GB/128GB. But do take note that it’s possible for the latest Asus midrange device to release its own higher variant in the near future.
Camera-wise, we’re seeing a slightly better 13MP + 5MP combo for the Zenfone Max Pro M2 as opposed to the 13MP + 2MP of the Honor 10 Lite — this, of course, will be decided upon testing. Where it really creates a huge difference is the whopping 24MP selfie camera of the Honor contender.
That huge gap can also be found in the battery department, but this time, favoring the Asus contender with its generous 5000mAh capacity. Both, though, make use of micro USB port.
Honor 10 Lite is estimated to be priced at Php11,990 while the Asus Zenfone Max Pro is expected at Php13,995.
Yes, Asus is a tad pricier here and holds not so many advantages but the fact that you won’t have to charge your phone in the next day or two is rare on a smartphone. On the flip side, the Honor 10 Lite also offers good value for the money, especially with its selfie camera.
