Redmi Note 8 Pro with Snapdragon 730G
The Redmi Note 8 Pro that we have right now came with Helio G90T, it’s a good chipset that can handle games very well. Slapping in the Snapdragon 730G means better efficiency. In theory, you can still enjoy a smooth gaming experience but with lower thermal output. This information comes from China, as the model numbers M1912G7BE/M1912G7BCÂ got 3C certification. Additionally, the device is going to be bundled with 27W fast charging vs the current 18W.
Update(11/19/2019) – Lu Weibing (Redmi President) and Anuj Sharma (Xiaomi Chief Marketing Officer) denied the rumors of Redmi Note 8 Pro with Snapdragon 730G. It would be weird to see the company using a Qualcomm chipset when it already decided to use MediaTek’s Helio G90T (a direct competitor to the 730G).
Redmi K30 To Arrive This December?
It’s been a while since we’ve heard news about Redmi K30. The last time was last August, with Redmi GM, confirming the fact that it’s already working on Redmi K30 5G. The latest information seems to match as the Redmi K30 is said to feature dual-5G standby mode. Furthermore, it’s said to sport two under-screen selfie cameras, kinda like the Galaxy S10+.
