Redmi India posted a teaser video about #Power and #MorePowerToRedmi
For the past year, arguably the best bang-for-the-buck phones come from Redmi. Specifically, we’re talking about Redmi Note 7 Pro and Redmi Note 8 Pro. For the price of an affordable mid-range phone, you get an incredible hardware package. In a video posted on Twitter, it seems like the company is prepping for the arrival of Redmi Note 9. While we don’t have enough evidence to support our claim, the Twitter world seems to agree with our sentiment. Not much can be picked up from the post but the caption is focused on #Power. While some might allude to faster charging or bigger battery, we feel like it could be about the chipset.Â
Just a few days ago, MediaTek announced Helio G80. It’s a mid-range gaming SoC with some features of G90T(Redmi Note 8 Pro). Since Redmi is all about offering the best value for money, opting for Helio chipset instead of Snapdragon might yield lower prices for consumers. Last December, the device was even tipped to use the un-released Helio G70. Expect more info to be released by the company itself in the next few days or weeks.
