Samsung is reportedly working on bringing waterproof feature to its new handset – the Galaxy S6 Active (SM-G890A) that has been in talks lately. And what more, leaks on the full specs of this anticipated Galaxy S6 predecessor have been circling around the web.
According to the report of SamMobile, Galaxy S6 Active will sport identical specs as to that of the ‘regular’ Galaxy S6 features. One of which is that it will come in the same 5.1 inch QHD Super AMOLED + display. Also, it is assumed to feature Exynos 7429 SoC, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, a 16-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front camera.
Though upgrade in dimensions are to be expected as the Galaxy S6 Active is said to sport a 73.6 x 146.9 x 8.8 mm, compared to 70.5 x 143,3 x 6,8 mm of the ‘regular Galaxy S6. Another update is that the battery will be upgraded to 3500mAH.
The leak confirms the buzz that AT&T will sell the Galaxy S6 Active base on its model number SM-G890A.
