Sony took everyone by surprise as they announced the comeback of their retro gaming console, the Sony PlayStation Classic.
The all-new PlayStation Classic that is based on the PlayStation that was released in the 90s will arrive with a smaller body. It will be 45% smaller than the original Sony PS and will also come with 20 classic game titles that most gamers are surely familiar with.
The PlayStation Classic will be pre-loaded with games such as Final Fantasy VII, Jumping Flash, Ridge Racer Type 4, Tekken 3, and Wild Arms.
The gaming console has a virtual memory card, wherein the pre-installed games are located. Along with the console itself, it includes an HDMI cable, USB cables, and two controllers.
The Sony PlayStation Classic will be launched in the Philippines this coming December 2018 and will be priced at PHP 6,190.
I’m normally against these remakes of old gaming consoles, but after trying to play my old PS2 on my HDTV recently, the idea of being able to play my old Playstation games in HD sounds amazing. I just wish it was an actual working Playstation (as in, it could actually read disks) and not just a fancy looking hard drive with Playstation games on it.
