Vivo continues to add new features to its smartphone models even months after their release through the Vivo-exclusive Funtouch OS system. The fingerprint sensor has been added recently through an update. Today Vivo announced that the Y69 smartphone is now equipped with Face ID Access.

This feature allows users to unlock their phones quickly— just by simply raising the smartphone in front of them. With the Face ID Access, users will no longer have to memorize passwords or patterns to open their Y69 smartphones. Y69 users will enjoy these perks by simply updating their Funtouch OS system to the latest version.

The Vivo Y69 sports a 5.5 inch HD IPS LCD screen with 1280 x 720 resolution. On board is 3GB RAM clubbed with 32GB of expandable internal storage. The device runs on Android 7.0 with Funtouch OS. The smartphone is powered by Mediatek MT6750 paired with a Mali-T860MP2 GPU boosted by 3,000mAh battery.
