Which is a better buy between the Vivo Y93 and Vivo Y89?
Given it’s Vivo, it’s really hard to determine the difference between their midrange handsets. But the Vivo Y93 marks itself with a fingerprint scanner on the back. Up front, it has a crisper display output along with a noticeable notch while the Y89 will feature a smaller notch.
One of the largest difference will be from the performance as the Y93 features a Snapdragon 626 as opposed to the entry-level SD 439 of Y89. Both will come with 4GB/64GB combo.
Camera-wise, it’s a standard dual camera affair for both so it may be a toss-up between the two, but do take note that the Y93 has a larger 16MP + 2MP main sensor for a crisper image. As for the selfies, the aforementioned device wins it with another 16MP sensor.
The only advantage of the Y89 will be the generous 4030mAh battery.
With both expected to be priced at P12k, the Vivo Y89 is already an upgrade that’d cost you nothing compared to the Vivo Y93.
