Known first as the Zenfone 3 Zoom launched last CES 2017, ASUS released the device under the name Zenfone Zoom S. The smartphone which features premium specs was launched in India last week.

The Zenfone Zoom S sports a 5.5-inch full-HD Amoled display. Being protected by a 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 5, the design of the Zoom S doesn’t seem bulky at all and its sleek body makes it easier to handle.
Taking the “Zoom” in its name, the Zenfone Zoom S packs two 12MP rear camera paired with a 13-megapixel front camera with a f/2.0 aperture. The primary rear 12MP Sony IMX362 sensor features a f/1.7 aperture and 25mm wide-angle main lens. On the other hand, the secondary sensor offers users 2.3x optical zoom and 12x digital zoom.
Moreover, the smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon 625 processor and clubs 4GB RAM with 64GB ROM, which is expandable up to 2TB via SD card. But, that’s not all. Alongside the Zenfone Zoom S’s mighty camera pair, is a 5,000mAh juice for all day usage.
The Zenfone Zoom S is priced at Rs. 26,999 in India. Consumers could avail it exclusively on Flipkart. However, there are still no news for global release. For Philippine pricing and release, stay tuned to Manila Shaker, as always.
