Huawei Honor V9 to be official on China
One of the top Chinese smartphone manufacturers in the world – Huawei, teases the upcoming Honor V9.
Honor, the sub-brand of Huawei, confirmed via Weibo post that the Honor V9 will be launched on February 21 right on its homeland.
That’s about one week before the MWC in Barcelona, Spain. This might indicate that the handset is exclusively available for China. Still, we’re hoping they will release an international variant.
The poster might indicate the V9 with IP68 water and dust resistance, a feature not found on the previous V8.

The Honor V9 has been spotted in TENAA sporting a 5.7-inch QHD display, Huawei’s proprietary HiSilicon Kirin 960 running on Android Nougat 7.0 and a 3900mAh battery pack.
Customers may be able to choose from 4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB internal storage with an option to expand via microSD card slot.
Certain rumors suggest that the Huawei Honor V9 might start for a price of $394 or almost Php20,000 Philippine peso without taxes.
