The second generation 12MP color sensor and 20MP monochrome sensor with f/2.2 aperture became “one of the best Smartphones we’ve tested for photography enthusiasts”, according to Paul Carrol from Dx0Mark.
Huawei P10 got a sub-score of 88 points when it comes to still photo – this accounts to good exposures in all conditions(including extreme low-light), good color rendition with accurate white balance, detail and texture preservation(as one of the sharpest they’ve tested) with a fast and accurate autofocus in either auto/manual mode.
In terms of video recording, Huawei P10 also got high remarks with 84 points. Recording maxes out at 2160p @ 30fps with good dynamic range and accurate white balance in all conditions, also. Overall, it was a very good performer, fast, and smooth even during scene changes and panning.
