Viber, one of Philippine’s leading messaging app, introduces Viber Secret Messages. Think incognito on your browser but with an actual human being on the other end.
Taking cues from Facebook Messenger Secret Conversations, Signal Messenger, Incognito Chat from Google Allo, timed messaging from Snapchat, and so many other end-to-end encrypted format chatting applications, Viber unveils Secret Messages.
The name of the game is to covertly send and receive messages that are stuck to that device only. No saving of messages, not backing up of history. Just plain old live-in-the-moment exchanges of sweet nothings or naughty somethings (you already know what I mean.)
Spice things up with your sexiest poses, images, videos, and messages with Secret Messaging.
Keep the fun to only one person. Keep it off the internet.
To get started, simply take a picture or video using the Viber camera or choose one from your gallery, set a time limit, and then send.
Once the media is opened by your recipient, the Secret Message will be visible for the time set, then disappears right after.
Admittedly, it’s not as intuitive as others that have done it before but it’s a nifty feature nonetheless.
