Sharp recently announced something that immediately got our interest, a humanoid smartphone, dubbed as RoboHon took everyone by surprise. The said smartphone was developed by famous tokyo professor and roboticist, Tomotaka Takahashi and is expected to be launched next year.

The robot is said to measure up to 19.5cm, and would weigh at 390g. The robot sports a 2-inch screen on its back and has a built-in camera and projector on its face, which is pretty cool.

RoboHon has a few interesting features that looks really cool, such as a reminder feature, wherein the device actually verbally reminds you of certain tasks, as well as verbally reading your messages for you and sending out messages verbally as well. RoboHon also has alarm clock features, in which the robot will set off an alarm, then wake you up verbally.

On the video, it can also be assumed that the latter has GPS or application capabilities, wherein it can get track of certain public transportation vehicles, as seen on the video. Also, it seems the robot is also able to read out human expressions and emotions, which is reminiscent of pepper from Softbank.
