Hydrogen 3.0 OTA now available for OnePlus 3 and 3T
Nougat based Hydrogen 3.0 has been released for the OnePlus 3 and 3T, and users are already reporting improved battery life.

If you are not aware of Hydrogen 3.0, it’s the successor to the OxygenOS when OnePlus decided to merge the Hydrogen and Oxygen development team, to speed up over the air updates.

The Hydrogen 3.0 update is for Chinese variants but users can play around with the software which is available in Chinese and English languages only.
The Nougat based update includes some Chinese apps, meaning, you will have to manually install Google apps and services. This might be the reason why users have reported improved battery life due to non-Google services running in the background.

The Hydrogen 3.0 includes some graphical user interface tweaks that suit to the locality of the device, which is China, of course.
