More premium design materials on OnePlus 2
OnePlus 2 frame and buttons are made of magnesium alloy which adds sturdiness to the phone. In comparison, Zenfone 2 has metal finish removable back with tapered sides which is a step up too over budget flagships, however, OnePlus 2’s build is just better.
The back of OnePlus 2 is sandstone finish although you can swap it for kevlar or wood cases.
More compact as 5.5-inch device
Having a 5.5-inch screen size, OnePlus 2 (151.8×74.9×9.9 mm) has smaller and thinner profile making it more compact than the same 5.5-incher Zenfone 2 (152.5×77.2×10.9 mm).
Higher screen-to-body ratio of OnePlus 2

Despite the advantages of OnePlus 2, Asus Zenfone 2 ZE551ML remain a wise choice for those who are in budget because of its more affordable price. But that’s if you are willing to sacrifice for other key features and specs you will get when you buy the OnePlus 2.
