Digital camera’s are a normal part of vacations and outings. When going on vacations, its always nice to know that you have a camera in hand to take those unexpected scenarios on trips and cherish them all for years to come, however, with different smartphones becoming more and more camera-wise, even at times in a level of a DSLR camera, are digital camera’s still needed?

The Digital camera’s of today
Today, digital camera’s are still used on the same particular ways as they were used in the past. Mostly, digital camera’s are first picks for trips and outings, thanks to their compact size and excellent camera functions. We’ve all have those on-the-way camera moments, wherein we’d take a lot of features when we’re still on our way to our destinations. These photos are oftentimes the highlight of the trip since likely the journey is more important and memorable than the destination itself. They’re easy-to-handle nature also fits perfectly for unexpected camera needs, such as taking photos of road routes and whatnot, to avoid being lost while travelling alone, as well as gaming purposes, wherein instead of writing things down, we can shoot using our digital cameras, for utility.
Despite being used in various ways, slowly but surely digital camera’s purposes are being taken over by high-end smartphone shooters. Smartphones are an all-in-one device and just like carrying a multi-tool with you, people would often time resort to smartphones, instead of digital cameras thanks to their better offerings.
The age of smartphone camera
Smartphones have become slowly but surely adaptable to situations. Thanks to new innovations by huge companies, smartphones have found themselves the go-to compact shooting devices thanks to their top-of-the-line shooting capability as well as their many options. Digital cams these days are slowly dying down in uses and thus, camera phone’s have become an overall better pick.
With this, though, not unless we find a new purpose for digital cameras, we might see the digital cam’s industry dying down in a few years or so. As much as in pains us to admit it, we can’t seem to see something that digital camera’s would triumphantly succeed on camera phones.
The inevitable truth that the digital camera industry is on the brink of extinction saddens me since digital cameras are a huge part of our unforgettable trips on the past, they were ways for us to cherish our outings and remember them forever. Though, thanks to the practicality of smartphones, it seems digital camera’s would just be a thing of the past.
