Apple and LG Innotek to develop 3D camera for iPhone

3D camera for iPhone 8 in late 2017

Apple is looking to bring an interesting upgrade to its smartphones for 2017. Apple and LG Innotek is reportedly working together in order to develop 3D smartphone camera.

LG Innotek, the exclusive supplier of iPhone 7 Plus dual camera is combining its 3D camera with Apple’s technologies in order to produce an improved ‘bokeh’ effect and depth-of-field on Apple’s next flagship in the late 2017.

It was reported that there would be three variants of iPhone next year, and most likely, at least one would have a dual-camera setup.
