The refreshed MacBook will now feature a sixth-generation Intel Core M. RAM also gets a boost from its original 1600MHz to a faster 1866MHz. Adding up to the mix is the new Intel HD 515 GPU, which was said to deliver overall better performance.
The battery life  on the MacBook also gets a boost, thanks to the major upgraded components on the device. It now carries a 10-hour longevity period for web browsing and an 11-hour longevity period for continuous video playback. On the side of the MacBook Air, it gets a boost in base RAM, which will now be 8GB for the 13″ MacBook Air while the 11″ MacBook Air sticks to the original 4GB of RAM.
