A couple of leaks ago, Apple’s iPhone 7 was said to have a “waterproof” feature in the loss of its 3.5mm jack. Back then, it was merely a leak, however, a recent rumour from China recently confirmed this and is said that the upcoming iPhone 7 will undoubtedly be “waterproof”.

This rumour also added that Apple is planning to hide away those pesky antennas with the use of some kind of “compound material”, which is expected to heighten the efficiency of the iPhone 7’s design. Both iPhone 7 variants are expected to be waterproof.
Catcher Technology will lead most of the construction of the iPhone 7’s chassis, covering almost 30%-35% overall. Take in mind that these are merely rumours, however, since the waterproof rumour has been seen a lot more lately, it would be likely that this particular feature will full through.
