Asus has finally unwrapped things off on their new Zenfone 2 Laser 5.5 S. It’s the same device we feature after it was leaked. The Asus Zenfone 2 Laser 5.5 S inherits most of the Zenfone Selfie specs and features but positioned as affordable as the Zenfone Max.
For Php 8995 official price, the Zenfone 2 Laser 5.5 S packs 5.5-inch 720p HD up front (we wished for a 1080p FHD though) while internal hardware is powered by a powerful octa-core Snapdragon 615 chipset we’ve seen to recent Galaxy A5, Galaxy A7 of Samsung. The CPU is paired with a 3GB RAM and expandable 32GB ROM, so far so good for its SRP.

Apparently the cameras on the Zenfone 2 Laser 5.5 S are much of the same as to the Zenfone Max we reviewed; 13MP on the rear with laser focus and 5MP for the front-facing selfie.
Design-wise, Zenfone 2 Laser 5.5 S looks similar to other Zenfone 2 models particularly the Laser.
Asus Philippines is already posting the Zenfone 2 Laser 5.5 S on their website, this pretty much tells that stocks are available right now.

i have been deciding as well what zenfone i will buy and I’m eyeing on zenfone max, but when i get to see the specs of laser 5.5s and i chose this phone.
zenfone 2 laser 5.5s has the better specs than max. its just the battery of max is the winning piece here and the powerbank ability to charge other phone.
but laser 5.5s has the winning point in terms of cpu/ram/rom specs.
oh btw, just bought it last saturday, may 21. well for me its a good midrange phone. i’m not a hardcore gamer nor a photography enthusiast so this will be enough for my need.
