A new ASUS smartphone appeared on Geekbench with the codename Z01RD. It is believed to be the unreleased ASUS ZenFone 5Z which was unveiled by the Taiwanese smartphone manufacturer during the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

The Asus Zenfone 5Z features a 6.2-inch full HD display with 2246 x 1080 resolution. it is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset. This latest chipset from Qualcomm is based on advanced 10nm LPP process technology. It also comes with Adreno 630 GPU coupled with 8GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
This smartphone runs on Android Oreo with ASUS’ own ZenUI. It also comes with ZeniMoji, which is pretty similar to Apple’s Animoji. The Asus ZenFone 5Z is fueled by a 3,300mAh battery pack with AI charging technology.
In the camera department, it has a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 12 MP + 8 MP sensors.
There’s still no announcement when the ASUS Zenfone 5Z will be officially available in the market, but it might arrive around June.
