The exhibitors at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) this year didn’t just unveil new smartphones, it was also a TV paradise. Each TV manufacturers showed off their biggest and coolest displays making the tech world shocked and in awe. We listed here some of the TVs that caught our attention during the tech event.

The Wall by Samsung

The South Korean company definitely brought something surprising at the CES 2018. Samsung has unveiled a 146-inch modular TV called The Wall. And it is the world’s first modular TV.

The Wall is a bezel-less 4K TV display that Samsung describes as “module-based.” As Samsung said, it will ultimately allow customers to create a TV-sized just for their needs. Although the company hasn’t revealed any specifications of the said TV, they sad, ”the modular screen can be used to create a wall-sized display, or simply let consumers increase their traditional screen size to suit a new room in the home.”

Samsung’s The Wall is only at the concept stage but according to the company, they have plans to commercialize it. They even promised a global launch of The Wall.

LG Rollable OLED TV

LG wowed attendees with its OLED Canyon, a mesmerizing walkway that consists of over 246 LG Open Frame OLED displays.The rich, vibrant colors of the OLED screens contributed to an unparalleled sense of immersion that had audiences snapping photos at every turn.

This new 65-inch OLED display from LG is flexible enough to spin up into tube form. From what we can see from the image the company released, it can be fit into a little box like of a soundbar.

LG 88-inch 8K OLED TV

Unveiled by LG is the world’s first 88-inch 8K OLED display panel. Aside from the screen resolution and size, other details about the panel are still scarce. With an LG OLED panel, there are no issues with power consumption, brightness, and resolution.

The 88-inch 8K OLED display panel was officially revealed at the CES 2018 event. Other than the 8K reso panel, LG also showed their ThinQ Speaker with built-in Google Assistant and other audio devices at the event.

Sony’s 85-inch X900F

Sony also brought a massive TV at the tech show, a gorgeous 85-inch LCD with a full-array local dimming LED backlight. It produces 8K content in HDR at 60 frames per second. Also, it comes with the X1 Ultimate processor, which can push up to a max brightness of 10,000 nits.

TCL 6-Series 4K HDR Roku TV with Dolby Vision

TCL once again revived the fan favorite with the new 55 and 65-inch 6-series TVs. The new set is somehow similar to the award-winning TCL Roku TV 55P607. It has 4K resolution, support for Dolby Vision and other HDR formats.

TLC built even more backlighting zones into this new set of TVs, from 72 to 92 zones in the 55-inch model (even more in the 65–inch model). The new TLC 6-series 4K HDR Roku TVs are expected to go in the market this April.
