Smartphone users who are very particular with the bezel of their phones can now take delight on this new bezel-less handset reportedly to be produced by Oppo.
With this, users can take advantage of the wide screen for gaming, playing movies and surfing the net. It is also undeniable that phones with less bezel are really striking and classic. This leaked device is dubbed as R7, the supposedly successor to Find 7 released a little year ago.
On a leak provided by Engadget Chinese, a video of the Oppo device in action which confirms it to be a real product showed a smartphone with really thin bezels around the display that it can hardly be seen.
The Chinese company, Oppo is known for producing cutting edge features in the likes of the 4.8 mm-thick R5 or the rotating camera on N3.
The photos provided show ultra-thin (almost invisible) bezels on its lateral sides with thick bezels at the top and bottom. Also from the photo, it can be assumed that it will be running Oppo’s Color OS and will sport a 5.5 inch screen, it looks like it will feature a metallic frame around the phone and is said to come with a 64-bit octa-core Mediatek MT6795 with a 20.7 MP rear camera.
On the patent filed by Oppo, it shows sloping sides of the glass that can refract light and create the illusion of a completely edge-to-edge display making the screen appear larger than in reality and concealing the margin that houses electronic components.
