Cherry Mobile has recently unveiled their very own disaster-based device, which in the past, we already encountered a couple of local disaster devices. The said device or, DEVICES is said to deliver the usual capabilities and traits of a disaster phone, namely the usual weather – resistant feature and shock – resistant features, with that lets take a closer look of Cherry Mobile’s upcoming disaster devices.
The U6 and U7 are looking to get themselves into the field of assisting everyday citizens in getting a better chance of surviving a calamity, with its features of communication, as well as the design built to stand and last. For the U7, the latter is the more typical disaster device that provides you with a phones usual capability of calls and texts, which can be really helpful in a dire situation. The U7 has a 2-inch TFT screen, with dust – proof and weather – proof features, as well as a little flashlight to get you through tough times, if you find yourself in the middle of a natural calamity.
Now for the U6, the U6 is a bit more stronger and morel physical larger than the U7. Built to be more rugged and robust than its smaller sibling, the U6 has a better chance of helping you out, since it also acts as a powerbank, with a 2600mAh battery in its back pocket. The latter also offers the same offerings as the U7, though it improves it in some aspects, such as the more larger flashlight in packs, for maximum utility. The flashlight is quite bright, so when stuck in a sticky situation, its gonna be quite useful, for getting help or wandering around with a decent bulb in your arsenal.

We don’t have any news whether the devices have been launched yet, however a pricing for the device has been given with the U7 being priced at Php 1,999, while the relatively larger U6 is at Php 2,499
