Dell’s upcoming XPS 12 is truly one to look at, with its massive specs and excellent features and just recently, Dell’s XPS 12 was announced today, so with that in mind, lets find out more, in regards to specs, features and price, and see whether the upcoming Dell XPS could par up with Microsoft’s beastly Surface series.
Dell is considering to take on the Surface Pro head on, though by the looks of things, they’re way is a bit different than what Microsoft has done, one reason for this is the 2160p UHD display, which is undoubtedly something to look at, there is also a 1080p model with sRGB capability, which should assist the device in battery longevity. Dell also took things into consideration and equipped the XPS 12 with the latest Skylake version of the core m series, which is to boost the device to infinity and even beyond.
The Dell XPS 12 also has a pretty decent LPDDR3 memory capacity, with its 8GB of LPDDR3 memory, backed up by a 128GB or 256GB of SATA SSD storage and a 30Wh battery. The device is made of magnesium alloy and is protected by a Cornings Gorilla Glass NBT. The Latter also featured a Thunderbolt 3 Type- C connector, which shows that Dell is looking to par up with the best in the industry. The 45-watt AC adapter present on the XPS 12 is also compatible to the Type-C connector, which is a nice little finisher that’ll make the Dell XPS 12 something to truly look forward to as a device. The XPS 12 is expected to be priced at $999 or roughly Php 45KÂ converted PH price upon release including the keyboard.
