Elephone S1 is now official in the Philippines. Lazada and Elephone officially launched the S1 in the Philippines alongside with P9000 and P8000. The S1 is the most interesting and it could be the best selling entry from the group. It is a budget Android phone but features elegant, sexy, and high-end style design on top of decent hardware specs inside just for a cheap Php 3999 official price.

In fact, during the launch event, the Elephone S1 stands out more in the crowd than the P9000 and P8000, although the two latter sports beefier specs and wider display.
Rocking the glass back and front, the Elephone S1 beats most mid-ranger Androids in design (Lenovo Lemon 3, Xiaomi Redmi 3, Meizu m3). There’s a fingerprint sensor positioned on the back while the 13MP main camera is paired with LED flash.
Under the hood is a quad-core Mediatek 6580 processor and 1GB RAM. Storage is 8GB and expandable of up to 64GB microSD.
The Elephone S1 will become available in the Philippines via Lazada online store starting April 18 alongside with the Elephone P8000 and P9000.
