Recently, we paired up the Lenovo Vibe Shot against Sony Xperia C5 Ultra on a comparison review and upon this comparison, we were able to find 5 reasons, why the Xperia C5 Ultra would be a better buy than the Lenovo Vibe Shot.
#1 C5 Ultra has better rear shooter performance
On our comparison, we were to determine that the Lenovo Vibe Shot provided less accurate colors on its outputs under natural light/daylight, in comparison to the more vivid and accurate image output that the C5 Ultra provided.
For Night images, the C5 Ultra was hands down far better than the Vibe Shot. The C5 Ultra delivered really crisp and clear outputs, in contrast to the Vibe Shot’s night images, who delivered blurry and grainy outputs, all in all.
To be fair, the Vibe Shot did deliver very satisfactorily still images, which would satisfy some people, although, it was undoubtably clear that C5 Ultra had the upper hand, in terms of still image quality and overall still image performance.
#2 A better selfie shooter
In the front-face cam comparison, the C5 Ultra delivered a few specific advantages, in terms of image vividness, color accuracy and overall image quality, which heavily trumps the Vibe Shot. So for those who love to take selfies, we can greatly suggest, the C5 Ultra, all in all, because it showcased its supremacy on the matter.
#3 Less Bloatware on the C5 Ultra
The Lenovo Vibe Shot provided a bit more built-in apps than we can actually chew, which will be a problem, since its gonna affect the initial internal storage capacity of the device. The C5 Ultra however, provided less built-in apps, thus, users are able to maximize their device’s internal storage capacity, which should be one of the main factors, upon purchasing your device.
#4 C5 Ultra provides higher system performance
The C5 Ultra sported a Mediatek 6752 octacore chip, 1.7GHz Cortex A53 CPU, while the Vibe Shot is powered by a Snapdragon 615 octa chipset. Both phones are octacore, yet, based on the benchmark rating tests conducted on both phones and overall software experience of both devices, the C5 Ultra was seen to be better, in terms of overall system performance.
Benchmark ratings for both respective devices
AnTuTu ratings
- Sony Xperia C5 Ultra- 45861
- Lenovo Vibe Shot- 38605
Geekbench 3 ratings
- Sony Xperia C5 Ultra- SCS: 799, MCS: 4192
- Lenovo Vibe Shot- SCS: 712, MCS: 2655
Overall application experiences on the C5 Ultra were also seen to be smooth, while the Vibe Shot, kinda lacked a few kick in its system.
#5 C5 Ultra has a bigger screen than the Vibe Shot
People might argue with this reason, because, generally, this factor isn’t exactly a strong decision-shifting tool, in choosing a phone. However, the thing that makes this a good reason, is that, screen is a very important tool in interacting with your phone. The bigger the screen, the easier for some, to use their phone. This is more of a utility-wise reason, which focuses on how the C5 Ultra’s bigger screen will help out its user, further than of the Vibe Shot’s 5-inch screen. With that in mind, we decided to keep this as a reason.
All reasons mentioned in this article are from our personal experience with the devices.
