Google posted a December security update and the Pixel series will likely be one of the first ones to get it. The update for both the Pixel and the Pixel 2 is being pushed out by Verizon.

The most notable inclusion of the December security pack is the KRACK fix. It’s good to see that Google is taking action since half of all Android devices were vulnerable due to security flaw. As it was absent from the November security patch.
Also, Google stated that there will be two patch levels for December:12-1 and 12-5. It may take time before the update notification to pop out on your devices as the rollout has just begun.
